Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Wohooo ("we", "us", "our") is an online service for generating digital business cards compatible with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Our website is wohooo.me.

2. What data we collect

Pro users (paid): We collect no personal data beyond what is required to process payment via Stripe. Stripe handles all card and billing information — we never see or store your payment details. Your contact card data (name, phone, email, etc.) is used solely to generate your wallet pass and is permanently deleted within 7 days of creation.

Free users: We store a one-way hash (SHA-256) of your email address to enforce the one-card-per-person limit. This hash cannot be reversed into your email address. Your contact card data is permanently deleted within 7 days.

All users: We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) for security and debugging. These are retained for up to 30 days.

3. How we use your data

• To generate and deliver your digital business card
• To process payment (via Stripe — we never handle card data directly)
• To send your card download link via email
• To enforce the free-tier limit (email hash only)
• To maintain service security and performance (server logs)

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party, except:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Azure — card files are temporarily stored in Azure Blob Storage for download. Files are automatically deleted after 7 days.
• Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery.

5. Data retention

Your digital business card file is stored for 7 days from the date of creation, then permanently and automatically deleted from our storage. There is no way to recover it after deletion. Download your card promptly after purchase.

6. Cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. We may use a minimal session cookie for checkout flow integrity. No third-party analytics cookies are set on this site.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Given our minimal data collection model, in most cases there is nothing to delete beyond the email hash used for free-tier enforcement.

8. Children

Wohooo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
